Carl Neff, General Manager

Carl Neff is the General Manager at WNYO. He has interned for two different morning radio shows in Utica and is a part-time radio personality for 96.1 The Eagle WODZ. He has a lot of professional experience in radio production so if you have questions or need help with anything, contact him at wnyo@oswego.edu

Jenn Robilotto, Programming

Jenn Robilotto is the programming director for WNYO and is in charge of scheduling shows, training new DJs, acting as a liaison between alumni and the station and much more. She can be reached at jrobilot@oswego.edu

Deja Daniels, Music Director

Deja Daniels, also known as DJ Kodak is the Music Director at WNYO. Spreading positivity, laughter, news, music, and gossip. She plans on connecting people and leaving her mark on and off campus. Deja is encouraging on-campus Disk Jockeys and people interested in music to join WNYO, so they can learn and grow together. You can contact her at musicwnyo@gmail.com

Emma Storey, Productions Director

Emma Storey is a Junior communications and social interactions major from Clinton, NY. Emma joined WNYO in 2018 as assistant to the Music Director, DJ Kodak.  This is her first year as productions director.

Sal Miliotto, Sports Director

Sal Miliotto is a Senior a broadcasting and mass communications major, from Port Jefferson Station, Long Island, New York.  

Sal transferred to Oswego from Suffolk County Community College last year. This is his second year involved with the WNYO sports department. First year as sports director. He was play by play for women's lacrosse last season as well as the color commentator for the women's basketball team.

Emily Kwasnik, Podcast Director

Emily is currently a junior Adolescent Education Major in French. Her hometown is Commack, New York. She has been involved in the podcast department here at WNYO since 2017. Don't be afraid to reach out and get your voice heard; she's very open to any and all podcast suggestions.

Matt Roelands, Business Director

Matt is in senior year at Oswego to earn Bachelor’s degrees in Broadcasting and French. Matt’s hometown is Newark, New York. He has always loved broadcasting, having interned for 1420 WACK/103.5 Big Dog Country, and now as business director at WNYO. He has traveled and studied abroad in France and Europe. Outside the station, Matt loves traveling, being outdoors, playing sports, and coaching in Oswego for the Oswego Laker Swim Club.

AJ Battista, Sales Director

AJ Battista is a sophomore Broadcasting major from Plainview, New York. He has been on the radio since he was 14 years old because of his high school's FM radio station, WPOB. AJ joined WNYO in the fall of 2017 and has his own talk show every Monday from 4-5 PM called Shootin' the Breeze If you have any marketing or sales questions, please contact him via saleswnyo@gmail.com

 

Melanie Romero, Public Relations

Melanie Romero is WNYO's Public Relations Director. She is a somphomore and a broadcast major, who is heavily interested in sports. She joined WNYO in 2018 as a DJ. For any questions, contact her at mromero2@oswego.edu.

Taylor Volkert, Alternative Director

Taylor is the Alternative Directory here at WNYO. She is a sophomore double majoring in Cinema and Screen Studies and Creative Writing from Westchester NY. Taylor started working at WNYO in Fall 2018 as an assistant and her passion for her work and love of the alternative department encouraged her to take over as director in Fall 2018.

Alex Kent, Rock Director

Alex (not Clark) Kent is the Rock Director for WNYO. He has been on the radio since 9th grade starting with WKWZ, his High School Radio Station. He is a Sophomore Broadcasting major who loves all things entertainment. His favorite bands include The Beatles, The Who, and Queen. He is a huge Met fan and always is trying to widen his movie knowledge. He wants to have a future in the media field. If you have any questions his email is rockwnyo@gmail.com

Michael Oxley, Hip Hop Director

Mike Oxley is the Hip- Hop director here at WNYO. He is a senior that is a business marketing major. He is the co host on the live radio show Kodak’s Moment along with Dj Kodak. During his spare time, he also makes music under the name Mike Ox.

 

During his free time he listens to lots of different artists. His favorites being Kanye West, Jay Critch, and Andre 3000. He also plays basketball.

Michael Velardi, Chief Engineer

Mike "The Party" Velardi is WNYO's Chief Engineer from Long Island. He majors in criminal justice with the aspirations to be a apart of law enforcement. 

He hosts a sports talk show "The Little Brothers of New York" where he rants about the Mets, Jets, and Islanders of New York.

Michael Marrano, News Director

Michael Marrano is a junior from Staten Island, NY. He is majoring in broadcast and mass communication. He has experience hosting live sports such as basketball for WNYO.

Patrick Ochang, Web Director

Patrick Ochang is the Web Director of WNYO 88.9FM. He is currently a junior with an Information Science Major and a Business Minor.


He hosts the talk show "You Hate To See It" formally on Saturdays and now on Fridays from 4-6 and is also a co-host on "Shootin the Breeze", Mondays 4-6!

Dr. David Crider, Faculty Advisor

Prof. Crider (Ph.D, Temple University) is an assistant professor in the Communication Studies department at SUNY Oswego. Prior to grad school, he was a 10-year veteran of professional radio in New York and Pennsylvania, serving in a variety of roles, including DJ, talk-show producer, and Program Director/Music Director. Dr. Crider teaches courses in broadcasting and focuses his academic research on radio. He is the author of "Performing Personality."
